Ann and Doug, recipients of the Outstanding Master Gardeners award, are going to show you an alternate way of seed starting.
Ann Min has been an Extension Master Gardener since 2017.She got the gardening bug years ago while she taught biology classes. Ann is retired and currently is the volunteer behind the scenes for Gardenfest, Gardenwalk, and Farm Stroll. She also teaches the intern botany lab.
Doug Moore has been an Extension Master Gardener since 2019. He has been the recipient of the Outstanding Master Gardener award. Doug is the lead Master Gardener at the Hoffman Park food pantry garden in Cary, IL.
Join Ann and Doug to learn about this alternate way of seed starting for your garden. This will be a hands-on presentation in which you will leave with your first winter sowing container all put together. You will need a gallon plastic bottle like the one water or milk comes in. All other materials are provided.
