Northwestern Memorial Healthcare nurse, Michelle Abrams and Emily Lutz, registered yoga instructor, will explain the science behind stress: what is happening in our brains and bodies when we experience stress and what health effects prolonged stress has on us. The practice of yoga is applied to understand stress and help combat physiological responses. Depending on the participants, the yoga can be standing or chair.
Registration is required and begins February 20.
